(3/9/2006)

    China’s travel and tourism market is set to more than triple by 2014 and travel companies around the world are seizing the opportunity to cash in on its vast potential. Whilst the opportunities are mind boggling, selling travel to the Chinese market is by no means a simple task. The market is a minefield of government regulations, financial pitfalls, cultural challenges, inadequate infrastructure and rapidly changing market dynamics.

    Taking place on 22-23 August, EyeforTravel’s Travel Distribution China conference is the only event where international leaders in travel distribution come face to face with senior Chinese travel executives to talk business, increase their understanding, build rewarding partnerships and most importantly learn how to sell travel to this complex market.

    Highlights of the event include;

    · An insight into the Chinese travel market through expert analysis + future predictions
    · Discover how the internet is redefining travel distribution in China and analyse the role of travel Search
    · Learn how has Ctrip become one of the best known brands and most profitable online travel provider in the Chinese market
    · Hear how to overcome the problem of taking online payments
    · Question Travelsky about the future of the GDS market
    · Hear how major tour operator TUI Travel China Co. is successfully balancing online and offline strategies
    · Debate how the implementation of BSP e-ticketing will affect airline ticket sales
    · Understand how Chinese consumers buy travel and optimise your marketing ROI
