well as a matter of interest for holders really just done a rough assessment of trading over the past
financial year as opposed to having invested all the funds in one fund I am particularly interested in, admittedly I am still holding an equivalent $ value of the original amount invested mostly to capture divvy then trade out of it, the bulk of trading results have come from one volatile large i/o company so here it is
as opposed to the fund which is currently trading down on its peak for the year and is at a premium to NTA
I am approximately 3.% gross short of the total value of the fund and assuming I had captured all the divvy, the message is simple I may beat the fund but not by much and its doubtful that I will improve significantly beyond my current position---so conclusion the fund is a relatively risk free way to enjoy a significant income grossed up from the original investment it carries around 40% in cash with a strong likelihood that overtime as its an active LIC I would enjoy quite acceptable growth and income as opposed to the risk associated with trading---looks like Mr Buffet is the expert

this was to be a trial year for me although its only one of many good and some financially devasting years so congrats to investors it is a better path so it would seem to have a diverse active portfolio
