It reminds me of watching a fish called a flathead in action. Lays on the bottom with mouth wide open, as small fry hover about it it jumps and goobles them up, then lays low again. As some come within reach again another gobble.
Of course eventually the movement attracts others and the action becomes more aggressive. Then aggression becomes the norm and we get a feeding frenzy. A situation we, as share traders, enjoy with boundless enthusiasm.
