With many of the major players in the copper industry predicting copper prices to remain at or near the current prices of $4855 us a tonne as of 1 April 2016 (and many predicting further falls) and mines closing and production cut due to a surplus supply in 2015, the question must be asked how much further willthis affect share prices?, not just for Redstone but other minor companies with Prospective copper interests without significant cash reserves?
Redstones share price performance has been...well ordinary over the long term, and granted copper prices haven`t helped, but comparing the share price for Redstone Resources at 4 August 2006 was 40 cents to 1 April 2016 it is .7 of a cent, its not exactly a stellar performance.
In my opinion it will be brave investors who would consider investing in prospective copper interests at this time knowing the fundamentals of copper production/prices now.
