re: cnb, jon1-bsg Hi Brunette, I didn't say low volume (as in the number of shares traded) but rather the number of sellers (and shares on offer) that are in the S.E.A.T.S screen. The pyschology behind it is that no-one wants to sell (hence no offers on the screen) as they think it is going up forever until they start seeing a few sales at lower prices and then they start to panick and put offers in at progressively lower prices which scares the buyers off and the price falls.

You are spot on that prices often peak with a pick up in volume. This is often associated with the "disappearance" of sellers on the screen and is a very useful profit taking indicator.
