Hi guys, just reading and playing catchup on all the lithium stocks on the ASX atm...and what do I find? A brine resource?! I did a bit of research on brine deposits in Australia a while back now. A really (long) nice article which summarises most of the brine exploration in Australia is under the title 'A Review of Australian Salt Lakes and Assessment of their Potential for Strategic Resources'. A simple google search should find it.

I did note that a few brine deposits had lithium and managed to track them down. Of the few potential lithium brine resources the Wertaloona Project (Frome lake) which is currently owned by RUM was one of the standouts. This project does have a historical drill sample. Note that the ppm is very low...in the order of between 6.6-99.4 ppm which came from a single drill sample. Compare this to brine deposits overseas which can be as high as 800-1400 ppm.
