Amplefuture's Pocket Portal, a mobile marketing application enabling brands to gain a presence on consumer mobile phones, powered campaigns securing top honours in the UK's New Media Effectiveness Awards and also in the 2006 Asian MobileNews Awards.

For MTV Networks Asia Pacific (partnering with Motorola), Pocket Portal is the on-device portal for Mobbed, MTV's 'Ultimate Expression of Mobile Culture' linking consumers directly to mobisodes of the Mob Squad; photo uploading; ringtones, games and wallpapers; competitions; blogs; motoalerts; and a Moolah rewards scheme. Promoted to audiences in seven countries across Southeast Asia and Australia, the Pocket Portal download won 'Best Mobile Phone Application' at the 2006 Asian MobileNews Awards.

For a Pan-European campaign launched by British Airways, Pocket Portal provided the technology for a 'Hidden London' travel guide which consumers download to their phone for instant access to recommendations for restaurants, pubs, museums and other London sights. The application won the award for the 'Travel' category in the 2006 New Media Effectiveness Awards. According to the commentary on the win in the awards magazine, "The judges were amazed by the numbers and noted the huge impact on ROI from a new application. They were also immensely impressed by the innovative use of mobile technology."
