Maybe you are right, maybe you are wrong. But how someone could draw the conclusion that not holding a stock makes any view you have on it worthless is not only fallacious, it's stupid.

I've been following some of the energy boards here out of interest, and some of the logic of posters worries me. Mainly because (like most people) I empathise with people trying to make money and also those who lose a bit. It's concerning.
