There should be a rule change to the away from home allowance to disallow any claim if the politician stays in an accommodation owned by his/her family members or relatives.
I don't think taxpayers should be helping them to help them paying off the mortgages on them.
Some of them even lived in a property owned by them but could claim the allowance because the place was not their principal place of residence.
