As is the case with most victims that Slater & Gordon represent, the circumstances are tragic for the victims. I don't want to dwell on the case details.
Without speaking of the detail the story is headline news and reported in virtually all regional as well as national newspapers in the UK. There is only one law firm mentioned in the article, Slater & Gordon. Stories of this kind will attract a wide readership and it is reasonable to assume the name Slater & Gordon will be subconsciously planted in memory of some who perhaps had not heard of them prior. This type of subliminal publicity is priceless.
Richard Scorer, from law firm Slater and Gordon, who represents one of the victims, said: "In 20 years of acting for victims in cases of this nature, these are some of the most appalling, sadistic and vile crimes that I have ever encountered.
