Can't disagree there, but there is a bullet point worth making.
• Stickland walked into the job on the 30th Jan 2015 when the SP was 1.5 cents.
His predecessor saw the SP realign itself from above 80 cents in the pre-Artemis hype to 1.5 cents on departure.
In his final year JH raised capital for the NZ workover and then delivered another disappointing drilling result - in what is a non or borderline commercial oilfield. Is it still shut in? Does anybody care?
Then JH called in offers which saw NEN and Mosman appear & neither appeared to offer any benefit to MEO shareholders.
The disturbing thing was there was hardly any negative scrutiny of JH and he was allowed to deliver adverse outcomes on a regular basis. And NEVER was there any effort to control costs either.
In defence of Stickland - his task has been considerable trying to turn around this circus.
