Cobalt fundamentally is so solid- here is a brilliant post from the weekend stt on Cobalt by @Freehold

Its awesome we have a world class Cobalt site already so advanced, plus the price of gold is rising for our future potential underground leg of operations which is no being further drilled

"Some posed a questions earlier in the weekend ... about Cobalt market pricing .... However, Metal prices usually move in relation to basic supply and demand ... 1st there needs to be a drop in supply or an increase in demand ... and then as supply drops the price of cobalt starts to rise ... So the price is currently stable but a closer look at the inventories of Cobalt on the LME (London metal exchange) for minor metals like Cobalt shows decreasing inventory of Cobalt available. By my calc (based on LME reports) max available in stock @15 Jan 16 of 680kt (I presume is kt) down to 614kt at the end of Feb from report released on the 8th Mar 16 (Latest Avail)... this is a fall of approx. 10% in about 6 weeks.

Also it is important to look at Cobalt futures pricing as this gives the current conservative market Guess/perception about what the price will be going forward. Currently the price / t of Cobalt is approx. US$22,300 / t... the Futures price for 15 months from now is US$24,525/t or basically they are expecting the price to rise by approx. 10% (personally, I think this is an big underestimate)...I would expect that we will enter a long term bull market for cobalt probably being exponential demand year on year for the next 10/15 years but this is IMHO only. There are not many minerals today that you can expect exponential growth in demand year on year for that long, perhaps graphite (Although we appear to be awash with possible supply), Lithium not currently much supply (and hence recent price growth) and of course cobalt which is even more rare than lithium. All three required for Std Lithium Ion Battery construction

So does not take much imagination as to what will happen to Cobalt from here... The early investors (taking the biggest risks) will be the ones to make the biggest gains... Holding lithium and cobalt stocks for short, med and long term is likely to be a lucrative strategy IMHO. I have extensive holdings in lithium and Cobalt Stocks right now.

all is IMHO DYOR to confirm."
