agree ...descending triangles whilst theoretically should breakdown to a measureable point are much more unpredictable in their breakdown I find, because companies or punters will often monitor the apex and once reached might perform what I call a saving act such as a well timed announcement if you are the company, or will trade it up again from that point, or the breakdown will be shallow and so defy proper measurement. They also seem to go through market 'trends' where for a while the market takes the descending triangle apex as the cue to enter again for a break up...regarding the formation itself as a type of 'shake out'...![]()
