Wow, those prices are tremendous!
Supply sounds really tight with them holding back stock at the sales point because its hard to restock . They are saying that they are doing this because they have to cover the next purchase which will be higher and they don't know when that restocking will occur making them wary of selling what they have.
Looks like it is all going to contracts rather than spot.
I read one article that companies don't like the idea of contracts at the moment because the price movement could place them in a precarious situation. Looks like this is just hammering that point home.
I really wish we were vertically integrated. I am not sure if it would make sense to use our supply position to bring some or at least one converter into the supply chain. We could at least benefit and sell on spot what spodumene we don't require.
