So I followed up on @john435 info and http://www.sequoia.com.au/sfg/welcome-sequoia-financial-group is running the show. They told me it is chocka block and the min is 2k but may not get 2k. He will send out a prospectus when it is filled app later this week and expects the offer to be available to the public in a month
