You got it wrong they. They do not screw "us". RCA in the 30s had a monopoly on radio, Philio Farnsworth (US citizen) had a ground braking invention. RCA took him to court WW2 came along that was 6 years gone the patent expired RCA then was able to use his and their own ideas until the cows came home.
The Wright brothers had a patent then Glen curtiss (US) came up with some very good patents. They were in court until WW1 came along when the US gov stepped in and told them to play fair.
What I am saying is things are not being done to "us" they are being done to everyone all the time.
