first nickel estimate at kuhmo

Sydney - Tuesday - August 22: (RWE Aust Business News) - Vulcan
Resources (ASX:VCN) has its first nickel estimate from the Kuhmo project
in eastern Finland.
The resources above a grade of 0.3pc nickel total 7.6 million
tonnes at 0.4pc nickel, 0.1pc copper, 0.3pc palladium and 0.2pc platinum.
The resources, at the Vaara, Peura-aho and Hietaharju deposits
contain almost 30,000 tonnes of nickel metal and over 120,000 ounces of
PGE.
In addition, there are a further nine nickel sulphide occurrences
in the area which will be investigated over the next 12 months.
Vulcan is conducting a program of geochemical sampling to provide
exploration targets adjacent to the known deposits
