Science is about precision. AGW is about woffly, wooly ideas with no precision and deliberate obfuscation. Like the hottest Darwin day on record last October, which on investigation turned out to be from a station which had only existed since 2001. It is physically impossible to verify (or otherwise) everything that is posted here, let alone everything written, about AGW. When a blunt statement is tried to be passed off a simplification - well, that's just pure condescension on the part of the poster. "Don't post anything that might confuse them"? Is that it? Nobody is as smart as tristanc, must talk down to their level?

C'mon, really? In common English, "y is x times smaller than z" is pretty well universally understood to mean "y = z * 1/x". Don't be ridiculous.
