Keep talking v8man. Your wilful ignorance abounds! Kibaran is aiming to supply the Graphite market in ALL areas of use, including batteries.
"The metallurgical testwork carried out as part of the Epanko Bankable Feasibility Study has confirmed that Epanko Graphite is of superior quality, suitable for these value added or processed graphite products and production of Spherical Graphite." Quoted from the battery manufacturing study published on the 4th of August last year.
ThyssenKrupp is a huge multinational and whilst it is a steel maker, It deals in a whole lot more than that. The European graphite trader that has a binding off take agreement with Kibaran, also deals in EVERY ASPECT of the graphite market.
Sojitz have already tested Kibaran graphite and found it to be more than suitable for batteries. So much so, that they have taken a 200 tonne bulk sample for production scale tests. "Results from the bulk sample tests will be used to determine production costs and establish premium pricing models for Epanko graphite sales to the booming lithium ion battery industry" quoted from The strategy to supply lithium ion battery market published on 29th February this year.
And to finish:
Sojitz Assistant General Manager, Mr Togo Teruhiko commented
“We are delighted to partner Kibaran, given our testwork has shown Epanko’s graphite to have superior qualities to its peers and at a time market demand is looking for a new supply of natural graphite outside of existing supply chains.” quoted from the ASX announcement on February first this year.
If you are seriously concerned about any company being one dimensional, then you should perhaps have a little look closer to home.
