If LOM had 1 JV on alluvials, and 2 on kimberlites, the Co. would be no less protected from a T/O because if LOM was taken over then then the new major SH controls LOM's share of each of the 3 JVs. Not much difference to taking LOM over, with all its interests in 1 JV.
