    Some good suggestions.

    Note attached link, Bob Every has recently retired from Wesfarmers, knows the company well, may consider a short term care-taker board role, but I would respect his decision if approached and he declined.

    I would suggest David Crawford if he has not completely retired.  Ex Liquidator, ex BHP/BHP Billiton Director plus numerous others.

    My apologies to ITIW if it was he who approached GIC.  Too much information flooding my brain at the moment.
