    April 19 (Reuters) - NKWE Platinum LTD (NKP) :

    • Update on proceedings against international petroleum ltd (NKP)
    • IPL has been and remains unable to perform its obligations and IPL is not entitled to the relief claimed by it
    • Nkwe Platinum has suffered loss and damage and seeks compensation, as assessed
    • Nkwe Platinum has sought in its counterclaim, as an alternative, payment of A$10 million from IPL
    • Refers to announcement on 25 February and advises that it filed amended defence and counterclaim in proceedings
