Actually, it's a really interesting topic, position size, risk capital and portfolio allocation...maybe a good weekend topic.
I read the DT thread at one stage today, more arguing, egos, and someone telling off another for mentioning $ profits made.
Jeez, when you can't mention $ on the DT thread, how silly.
Why is this such a bad thing? is it too PC? The DT thread has gotten worse since Mitta left imo.
Sometimes knowing ones lets say "commitment" can help you understand their conviction to a stock or trade.
Some of us are in 20s, some and from past threads most of us are in 40s, and many heading into retirement.
I am happy to take a $2k pilot buy, and yet have invested 1/4 mill in a single large conviction stock.
