Containers are a pain in the bumhole.... not just Brazil but around the world!
Off topic here, but the community organisation I am a part of here in Tassie, we have containers sent over from China, Hong Kong and Korea at least 2-3 times year (talking about massive 10m long ones). An experience I had was, it was sitting there waiting 'de-contamination' for about a month; the contents inside were BOOKS. However, Customs identified biological materials on the outside of the container and so even though it had nothing to do with the contents and could have happened during the freight over, it was just sitting there waiting for time to pass and paint to dry.
Of course, there have been cases when the containers arrives, and they were released within 4-5 days.
Let's see what OGX have to say, has anything attempted to email or contact them?
