Good to see you back samjp2 - talking of sailing I spent quite a while working out the world floating storage and what isn't making it in the news is the huge build up of tankers off the UAE (- I lost count at 180 tankers at anchor) - way bigger than whats at Housten or Rotterdam - there is only a handful at the saudi port of Al Jubail or Manama
When I click on them there looks to be a spread of LNG tankers and Crude tankers but why are they building up there like that? I see the Basra blockage is clearing so that oil is flowing better but there is very clearly the world biggest build up around the UAE and I'm finding nothing being reported about it - take a look:
