    The problem with this market and the reason it's so hard to turn a regular profit is that there is no real trend: Maybe a market retracement, but not really a definable downward / upward trend...but then again I am not a technical chartist...so you may well know better. Views on QAN's chart would be appreciated

    I can’t see a “crash” of >10%. The economic fundamentals are too strong. The market is looking to run, but the resistance to bridge the gap is a lack of consistent confidence and news to support.

    Take for example the US: a few weeks back the hot topic was global interest rates…now it’s low-growth. Low growth = stagnating interest rates = catch 22 for the markets = all both bad news items.
