It took them (Synlait) about a month to secure 28 new a2 milk suppliers! They stopped advertising and aren't currently looking for more. a2 cows aren't just "grown" they are selected from existing herds and separated - this means they can get as much milk as they want, as quick as they want it - provided they are paying the farmers what they want - which they do. If you you want to down ramp at least come up with factual arguments or read a few of the links that are posted.
Furthermore, as I understand it all IF going to China must come from the Synlait facility as it is registered with the Chinese authorities. If Synlait aren't able to produce enough IF to service the worldwide IF market (UK shortly, USA soon enough, NZ next year) then a2 always have the option of using Synlait to service China only, then striking deals with processors in UK / USA / AUS to service domestic markets. Dairy consumption worldwide is dropping meaning there will be plenty of processing plants with capacity to take on new clients.
