UPDATE 2.20pm: Shares in Perth-headquartered online broadcasting company xTV have sky-rocketed this morning after it announced a letter of intent with global telco AT&T to co-deliver 2500 “3DCloudTV” units.
The company, which backdoor-listed through Intercept Minerals in 2014 and counts Perth’s Applabs as a major shareholder, estimated the value of the deal at $US93.5 million ($120.1 million).
Its “3DCloudTV” technology is described as 3D TV live, on demand with no headsets or glasses for sectors such as retail, healthcare and hospitality.
