It's quite interesting to find the latest publications regarding Lithium on the USGS website "does not have links to digital versions of this publication at this time" hrmmm ...
I've done some pretty extensive scouring of this site and these are the only two publications I wasn't able to download.. Even managed to get Aeromagnetic Maps from 1967 ... Peruse the (other) publications at your leisure. I'm no geo and please correct me if im wrong but it seem's to me the Clayton Valley basin (for which the Lida Valley lies adjacent) possesses an abundance of Lithium. Tesla's a genius, he's not heading to Nevada because he's .. "Never been in a convertible before" Its riddled with Lithium.
