How do you take positions with these kind of 'fundamentals' swirling in your mind constantly and blaming manipulation if price moves against your bullish bias? Hence I refer to goldbug constant reminder of market crash to fuel their enthusiasm, the everyone out there against us small retail gold bulls. In case you have not notice, it is the battle of the big money against the equally big money. One side has to win and current it is in a state of equilibrium. If you want to be smart then try to be on the right side of the price, very much dependent on TF. One investor of a blip in price is a gigantic move for another.

It does not matter if you think US economy will implode. What matters is where the SP500/Dow is heading to. Unless our monitor is upside down, I don't see any implosion. However entertaining @Forged charts are showing, personally it is indicating to me how bullish things are regardless if you think the fundamentals are weak.

Here is the sentiment index of FXCM retail holders in sp500,

The bears have increased their positioning from a few weeks ago when I was watching this indx. I posted that the SP500 will continue to keep steam rolling along perhaps not in a straight line but it is expanding the index number to see the high. I suspect as those highs are tested you will see more retail positioning for the short side expands even more especially when they are all looking for a one way street trendline break.

No doubt I do try to keep abreast of world events and implications on gold price but I try to keep a balanced perspective because it is too easy to fall into a conspiracy/manipulation mind set. I cannot trade with these type of generic uncertainties. The smart/big money can spin all sort of BS to the public but it cannot hide price imprints on a chart.

'Trade what you can see and not what you think.'
