Albidon Could Be In Production From Enterprise Nickel Project By 2008.

“I think Munali is a good project that will turn into a mine”. Analysis doesn’t get much simpler than that, but so says John Meyer, analyst at Albidon’s house broker Numis, and it has to be said that lately Albidon has been providing plenty of data to back up his view.

The latest information from the company states that the flagship Enterprise project in the Munali district, southern Zambia contains 8million tonnes of ore grading 1.4 % nickel, 0.2 % copper, 0.07 % cobalt, and 0.9 g/t platinum group metals. That gives 109,000 tonnes of contained nickel and 222,000 ounces of platinum group metals, nearly 90 per cent of which is in the indicated category. There should be more to come though, and soon: “There’s a feasibility study to come out within weeks,” says Mr Meyer, “and it’s likely to lead to an increase in the resource”. ... more
