In the 1980s there was a stock called Sogeri. It was capitalised at its peak at $20m, a significant figure in those days. Its business plan was to use new technology to convert a large proportion of the Chinese rice crop into engine fuel. On the projections, it could easily be valued at $1bn, so it was an absolute bargain and alicnce to print money. Billy bought plenty, and he has the scrip to prove it. A great pity that not only it, but its directors, disappeared without trace.
