There could be an argument (weak argument) for continued recruitment in some essential areas 'to keep the business running while it winds down' but is the appointment of an internal recruiter essential?
I regard continued advertising UK & Aus and recruitment in non-essential areas, plus E&Y sign off at 31 March, as the strongest evidence of business as usual as one could wish to see at this time of a news embargo.
