Best silver exploration plays!!!

With the silver outperforming gold this year, we haven't actually seen many off our silver explorers rise as fast as gold explorers I think mainly due to lack of knowledge of there existence, so lets work together and make a thread get some updated information out for people interested in silver, I will kick it off, with the under appreciated.

VMS - Market cap $9 mill - 300 million shares - $3.5mill cash.

12 month chart looks good, close to a serious break out.



The story so far VMS has been working on a tin-tungsten project in Tasmania since 2007 they have done 83000m of drilling and have a JORC with a bankable feasibility study completed, this is a very good project in it's own right, but it is waiting on tin prices.


So now they have moved in silver exploration, they picked up some tements in Thailand along the loeli belt,which hosts KCN's chatree deposit.


Intial discovery was Thali north.

They have initially identified a north trending zone of high grade soil sampling and rock chips at least 300m long of gossanous quartz veins and breccia, Regional scale geological mapping suggests the host volcanic rocks are of Permian-Triassic age, which is widely associated with base and precious metal deposits within the Loei Belt.

Simple explanation high grade silver sampling runs north consistently for about 300m and the geology they are seeing is correct for the area.

Thali South is more deeply weathered and preliminary work suggests the presence of a NW trending base metal stockwork vein zone within a porphyritic igneous host, the host volcanic rocks also from the Triassic granitoid suite which is widely associated with base and precious metal deposits within the Loei Belt.

Thali East and North-East is underlain by a mainly north striking sequence of sedimentary rocks, including limestone, intruded by a series of intermediate to felsic porphyries, diorite and granite, stockwork veined and sulphide-bearing calc-silicate skarn within the sedimentary host rocks (especially ). associated with the Triassic granitoid suite is widely associated with base and precious metal deposits within the Loei Belt.

As the figure show not only is the high grade gold sampling consistent with the high grade silver and base metal sampling, it also extends outside of the original Thali north silver and base metal area.  



Additional area of interest besides Thali, VMS is also has additional areas of interest close by currently under application which the company intends to advance in addition to Thali once those are granted, one additional deposit which is Pak Yang, it has already has a 2km zinc soil anomoly, which has so far been a successful method of identifying silver at Thali.



The company is currently finalizing details of a maiden drill program for Thali, which should begin in the near future, remember though this is all just based off of soil anomalies and rock chips no drilling has yet been done.

If the drill turns up empty you know the drill, but you might not need to even see results to make good profit on this one once drilling is announced sellers will be in very short supply it's a tightly held stock and still the cheapest silver play on the asx with amazing upside.
