I was thinking that android and iOS apps would be released at the same time as I believe both were tested in the phase 2 testing. If they want to make sure it is on the apple app store before end of May then it will need to be submitted around the middle of the month as it can take up to a couple of weeks for them to verify the app before it becomes available. Google play has a much quicker turn around where the app can be up the next day.
