Shorts don't get to borrow the shares for nothing.
Their cost base must be very low if they have held them for 5 years, could be just as strained as the longs.
Given we have a dung pile of associated tech but a also a treasure chest of outstanding results, another trial endpoint seemingly OK to FDA, one would think the wind up value of Sunshine Heart is not zero, in fact with tax credits esp Aus ones the wind up figure is most likely way above 70c, the shorts look like far more certain losers than the longs who look to have a base on their investment above the current price????
Even if SSH just drags on for another year the cost to the shorts must tell.
I can admit to being a rusted on long, mainly because C-Pulse works and there is nothing else out there and the tech problems will eventually be solved.
At least the shorts seem more stupid.
