bruceyg, being in the same discipline you would understand what it is all about to get the good shot away on an open range and allow for the wind and get the possible. For those anti gun folk who would be knocking on my door should they feel threatened, and require back up, well, just try and reason with who ever and see how far that will get you.
I am in the sport of full bore, long distance shooting and use iron sights, no telescope, although the use of the scope is getting very popular, but tougher gun laws are not needed as they are tough enough and adequate as they are. vote 1 ALA.
