I disagree - if you want a pure gold play then there are heaps of other gold only producers or explorers to invest in.

How many ASX listed companies companies with exposure to operating gold mines plus operating Tin mines and potentially an operating Copper mine? Management are agnositc about particular metals and have proven to be able to buy assets cheap and make money out of them. I'd rather they concentrate on running their mines efficiently rather than spinning off into two separate companies with all their head office costs and overheads duplicated.
