Sorby Hills seems like a nice long term project, the PFS was done in 2012 and the updates since have been scant.
Does anyone know when the Sorby BFS will be complete? It's been 3.5years since the PFS. I know KBL are aiming to complete the BFS in 2016 but I can't see any evidence that Sorby is funded or of it being a priority. In the last KBL presentation I think Sorby gets 2 pages out of 30 and the bulk of that doc was Mineral Hill.
I am placing almost zero value on Sorby for now because KBL are not focusing on it and my assumption for the lack of attention is a funding issue which if correct means that our Chinese partners are not in a hurry to progress the project to production on the current terms.
Sorby reminds me of a cavalry unit that arrives too late.
If Sorby is where the upside is going to come from then KBL needs to focus the investing community attention to that and let us know the where, when and who's of the project.
