AMAX walked away from this for good reason. It found the only mines that work in a western world cost structure are hard-rock* high grade and metallurgically uncomplicated.

Once again, a bunch of people were conned into investing by silver-tounged promoters who believed they could invent a better wheel. No wonder why people are sceptical about specialty metals - it's not the lack of transparency on the trade or pricing of the metals; it's the falsities and spin spilling forth from the maws of the slack-jawed spivs.
