That should read why was money NOT spent on a 3D seismic. Remember, it's not just MMR that's paying DB, he also feeds off GBA and BPH and Advent ( which have all done NOTHING for the last 6 years). What ever happened to all these wonderful patents via BPH, and the commercialisation of a gas well far north, or the LOI with the seafood farm.
