That I would say is a pretty simplistic view of things.
BHP are not only in oil but also other commodities.
    These commodities have all crashed.
Yet their cash flow is astronomical.
I am sure if we all had enough money BHP @Sub 15 dollars would have given a 25% return.
Plus the dividend they give would buy many multiples of FAR shares.
Long term the outlook for companies like BHP are rosy as cycles change.
Besides not everyone in FAR has doubled their money which is depended upon when you bought in.
68 cents was the highest price FAR got to way back in 1994 with I would say a considerable less SOI.
I really have no clue how long a long termer is classified but as you can see long term holding has not paid off.

As for a share consolidation which I assume is the point here, the quicker they do it the better.
Raising funds after that's done will not dilute the company as much as it does now and it will probably give the holders a chance to participate in any future CAP raisings instead of the dilution you have now.

At the moment the situation is that larger instos or larger shareholders are the only ones who don't get diluted.
When a shareholder gets diluted they lose money.
