re: staying steady I would like to put in a couple of bob's worth, If I may. I wouldn't mind finding out the following.....
First thing is, do they have enough product to cater for any "Boom" in LVAD implants (and incidentally are these items already stamped with the CE mark?) Second thing is, are there enough Cardiothoracic surgeons around the place to handle a "Boom". If they are talking about hundreds of thousands a year suffering with congestive heart failure (just in Europe), how are they going to handle the demand - assuming that everyone having an implant can afford one. Next thing, where do you (guys) get the 15th September from? During my research, I have found through going though Google (of all things!) that the European Association of Cardiothoracic Surgeons are having their annual get-together in Stockholm, Sweeden on the 9th - 13th September. I have been unable to get the agenda ('cuase I'm not a doctor-member), but it appears to me that a presentation by Ventracor would more than likely take place around the 11th or 12th (giving the attendees time to register (9th) get any business etc out of the way (10th) and closing the meeting and having their farewell drinkies on the 13th...leaving the 11th and 12th for various presentations. Mr Crosby would then need a day to draft some sort of newsy letter to the ASX to announce to us what transpired. So I reckon we'll hear on the 13th or 14th.
Finally, the share price would only be calculated by a very foolish person at this stage of the game, as how the heck can anyone of us know how many units can be implanted in one year, on this new production-line?
