LOL, Well it might help if i post the thing,
It appears there's still confusion for some about the dates for the rights issue.
The main dates to note are:-
1. Tuesday 29th Aug = last day of cum rights (CR) - ie, an ordinary CCI share is still carrying an entitlement to half a new rights issue (or 2xCCI = 1xNRissue).
2. Wednesday 30th Aug = first day of ex rights - ie, CCI shares are no longer carring the right to a NRissue.
If you buy on this day you are not entitled to the NRissue. If you sell on this day you retain the right to the NRissue (this assumes you owned the CCI shares on the previous day).
3. Wednesday 30th Aug = first day of NRissue trading. Only those holding NRissue can sell them, anybody can bid to buy them.
4. Tuesday 5th Sept = record date - ie Computershare (being CCI's share registry) will compile a list of all those who held CCI shares on Tues. 29th Aug. for the purpose of the NRissue entitlement.
5. Monday 11th Sept = The Prospectus with Entitlement and Acceptance Form will be despatched to all those on the Computershare list as in point #4.
6. Monday 18th Sept. will be the last trading day you can sell or buy NRissue on the ASX.
7. Monday 11th Sept to Monday 25th Sept is the period which you have in which to lodge your acceptance form for the number of NRissue you want (up to your maximum entitlement). Whatever you accept you will have to pay for (0.005c ea).
Thats better, regards The Tinhopper.
