We have had a couple of headsup lately which may account for the anticipation. One was to "watch this space " regarding midkine and the other was the spinning off of two subsidiaries to cater for two different parts of the midkine IP. It was stated that three different areas were to be the prime focus and these were to the fore at the symposium according to the program.
The symposium itself may bring further news of additional IP as suggested by a tweet from Maria. Any announcement in the near future may not be as a result of the symposium but from progress already made prior.
