The thing is there's a huge movement towards "community care" both in aged care and disability care. Institutions such as Minda in SA typically used to have ward-style setups but have invested a lot of money in community housing, be it suburban or on their own campus. These are typically remotely managed, especially overnight, with surprisingly little staff support. Don't get me wrong, every day I see all manner of amazing tech out their to support these people but yet no unified, coherent system to monitor it.
JCT were unfortunately bound to installs involving quite a bit of infrastructure (ie c-bus backbone) but when they get it all working with Xped and NFC then wowsers, it could be huge.
