Adacel Secures IDIQ Sub-Contract with United States Navy: New Contract Maintains Company’s Lead in Advanced Aviation Simulation and Training

Orlando, FL (August 29, 2006) – Adacel, an industry leader in simulation development, software integration, and speech recognition technology, announced today that the United States Navy has approved the Company’s addition to the SeaPort-e Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract through prime contractor Coalescent Technologies Corporation. The Seaport-e ID/IQ provides support services for all phases of Weapon Systems acquisition and life cycle support including Research & Development, Prototyping, Acquisition Logistics, Modeling, Test & Evaluation Trials, and Engineering. This contract is a 15 year (five year base plus two five year options) Multiple-Award Contract (MAC) availing $8 billion in marketable ceiling for the base period, and $27 billion overall.

Adacel will provide real time and simulation engineering services, air traffic management simulation products and centralized and on-site support services to all components of the DOD. As well, Adacel looks forward to expanding their advanced product lines such as their voice technology capabilities, security simulation and assessment and flight simulation technologies during the tenure of this contract.
