I tend to agree that kids need to learn to handle some difficult challenges in their lives and to be innovative and "agile", as Turnbull would spout, in their search for solutions...
All children must learn that life can be hard at times and that you do not always have a fairy-godmother with a bucket full of cash waiting around to bail you out and shower you with easy cash, as Turnbull's kids seem to have had...
That said, I have always tended to have a bit of a soft heart towards my kids helping where I could while ensuring that they do some hard yards to get something they have set their sights on..
We all have to make our own decisions depending on our situations and I know a lot of families are finding it very hard right now so I am quite appalled at mega-rich Turnbull's dismissive "let them eat cake" foot-in-mouth goof...
