Thats interesting. I didnt know that Forager had sold some. Do you know if they still have a position?
Certainly from a risk management perspective , there can be a good reason to sell if you're sitting on gains.
This doesn't need to be done on a stop loss (trailing or otherwise) basis though.
I've had plenty of success using a price spike to reduce a holding and I've done some pretty in-depth research that shows this works better than selling on a dip.

If someone is into buying into a stock once its risen 100% or 200% , they may as well use stop losses, because if they're relying on predicting future price movements from past price trends, in the long run ,they'll lose anyway.
