I met up with my Vitaco contact yesterday who informed me that sales were tracking well ahead of last year. April alone was over 35% ahead of budget and over 70% up versus LY. They are currently in the process of culling slow sellers from the portfolio and introducing a number of new lines. Presentation of products (in a more corporate way) has commenced however they don't expect results for a few months. The first product into Boots is just the beginning with the UK market currently untapped. Unlike other companies that are downgrading their year end profit forecast, I expect the Vitaco year end result to be well above their current forecast/budget as they are playing things close to their chest given the volatility in the share price. For those that care I bought VIT at $2.60 then $2.70 but doubled my investment this morning at the opening at $1.71.
